Open a New Account

Choose this if you'd like to open a new Electricity, Gas or Dual Fuel account with us.

Transfer Account to Another Property

Choose this option if you're moving home and want to transfer your Electric Ireland electricity or gas account to your new property. Simply login to Your Account Online, select your account and navigate to "Moving House".

Transfer Account to Another Person

Transferring account to another person is only possible in exceptional circumstances. If you want to transfer account to another person because you are moving home and somebody else is taking over the bills, the new person should open their own account instead. Please view our help article on changing name on the bill for more information.

Close Account

Choose this if you want to close your Electric Ireland electricity or gas account. Simply login to Your Account Online, select your account and navigate to "Moving House" where you'll find the option to close your account.
