Powering Kindness Is Coming Back!

Powering Kindness Is Coming Back!

Electric Ireland Powering Kindness Week is coming back!!

Taking place from this Saturday January 17th to Friday January 23rd, Electric Ireland Powering Kindness Week will see the kindness spread by the Irish public transformed into a donation of €130,000 for three Irish charities

Over 45,000 deeds were logged the last time, reaching a staggering 18,300,000 people worldwide in the process.

This year we hope to be even bigger and better, so get involved and brighten someone's day with a kind deed.

It can be as simple as giving up your seat to a stranger on the train, calling into a neighbour for a chat, offering an umbrella to someone being soaked by the rain, breakfast in bed, calling home, the list is endless.

Any simple act of kindness can be logged through the Electric Ireland Powering Kindness website or through social media channels using the hashtag #poweringkindness and tagging the selected charity.

There is no limit to the number of good deeds an individual can do and the charities will benefit from every act of kindness completed.

At the end of the week, the charity with the greatest number of good deeds done in their name will receive a donation from Electric Ireland for €60,000 with €40,000 and €30,000 for the other two charities.
The campaign will be hosted through www.poweringkindness.ie.
