Whether you are renting or moving into your own new home the easiest way to get your new MPRN is from the landlord or previous owner.

If you are moving into a house that has just been built you might have to contact ESB Networks to get your MPRN.

What is a MPRN?

MPRN is your Meter Point Reference Number and is unique to your home. It identifies your connection to the national electricity network. MPRN is a unique 11 digit number and starts with digits 10.
