Electric Ireland Switching Bonus Terms & Conditions
- A Switching Bonus is only available for new customers joining Electric Ireland for a minimum contract of twelve months.
- Customers who sign up for Electric Ireland’s ValueSaver Electricity or Dual Fuel Price Plan will have the Switching Bonus applied to their electricity account. Customers who sign up for Electric Ireland’s ValueSaver Gas Price Plan, will have the Switching Bonus applied to their gas account.
- If you receive a Switching Bonus and cease to take electricity and/or gas from Electric Ireland before the end of price plan contract term, Electric Ireland reserves the right to cancel the Switching Bonus and debit your account with an amount up to the value of the Switching Bonus.
- You must be 18 years or over at the time of application.
- Only one application of credit per person in a twelve month period. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Applications in the joint names of two or more persons qualify for one allocation of Switching Bonus offer.
- Electric Ireland reserves the right to refuse a Switching Bonus where a previous Switching Bonus was applied in respect of the same MPRN and/or GPRN in the previous twelve months.
- This offer can be withdrawn without notice.
- Switching Bonus is an energy credit and can only be used to offset charges on your Electric Ireland account. NO CASH ALTERNATIVES OR REFUNDS will be offered.
- The Switching Bonus value is inclusive of VAT.
- By applying online to Electric Ireland for an electricity, gas or dual fuel price plan, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Please allow up to four months from signing up online for the credit on your first or second* electricity bill.
- A Switching Bonus may appear as Bonus Credit on your bill.
- The promoter is Electric Ireland, Swift Square, Northwood, Santry, Dublin 9. Electric Ireland is a division of ESB.
- Electric Ireland reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time where reasonably required.
*Should the credit not appear on your first electricity bill, it will be applied to your second bill.
