Electric Ireland secures landmark contract with BWG Foods to supply electricity to 1,100 retailers

Electric Ireland has today announced a landmark contract with BWG Foods to supply electricity to over 1,100 retailers across Ireland. The deal, which runs to March 2022, will supply electricity to convenience retail brands including SPAR, MACE, EUROSPAR, XL and Londis stores, alongside BWG Foods’ 240,000 sq. ft National Distribution Centre in Kilcarbery, Dublin. The agreement will see the supply of approximately 170 million kWh of electricity per annum to BWG Foods retailers across Ireland.
