James is an accomplished Customer Relationship and Business Development Professional with over 16 years of experience in the energy sector in Ireland. While his primary focus has been on retail and the waste-to-energy markets, before joining Electric Ireland in 2022, James’s career spun a period of 28 years and has transcended across several B2B sectors such as Material Handling (Henley Forklift Group) and Financial Services (AIB & BOI).
At Electric Ireland, James’s commitment to understanding and addressing the complex needs of large energy users is paramount. He believes unconditionally in being courageous, driven and dynamic. A pursuit of healthy internal and external relationships based on mutual trust. His strategic approach during the energy crisis in 2022 demonstrated his ability to navigate challenging market conditions and secure favourable outcomes for his clients. By providing tailored contract options and leveraging his deep industry knowledge, James ensures customers receives optimal value and reliable service. James currently holds degrees from both the Munster Technological University and the Maryvale Institute Birmingham.
David Fusco has over 16 years of experience in the energy sector, including nine years at Electric Ireland as a Customer Relationship Manager. He specialises in managing the needs of Large Energy Users across Ireland, ensuring they receive best-in-class customer service and competitive value through strategic product offerings.
David began his career in the energy sector in 2008 with a gas distribution and supply company in Northern Ireland. He joined Electric Ireland in 2016 and developed extensive knowledge of both electricity and gas markets. His adaptability in navigating market conditions, regulatory shifts, and technological advancements has fostered long-term business partnerships, highlighting his dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and sustainable energy solutions.
One of David's notable achievements includes securing two of the largest new gas connections on the Gas to the West network in Northern Ireland, positioning Electric Ireland as a reliable dual-fuel provider. David has “witnessed first-hand the increasing emphasis on sustainability and renewable energy sources” and how “Electric Ireland has reshaped its offerings to meet evolving customer needs”. David’s commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of large energy users has driven the success and reliability of Electric Ireland's services.
David graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 2007.
Bill Boucher is a highly experienced Customer Relationship Manager at Electric Ireland, having joined in 2016. Bill brings over 13 years of extensive broker and franchise channel management expertise from senior positions at O2, Lloyds, and Allcare Pharmacy.
Bill has worked in sales and channel management across diverse industries, including Professional/Consumer Audio, Telecoms, and Pharmacy. He became Electric Ireland's first Third Party Intermediary & Broker Manager, successfully establishing and managing the channel for six years before moving to the Large Energy User Customer Relationship Management Team in 2022.
At Electric Ireland, Bill’s favourite success story involves securing a large gas customer's extensive electricity business by establishing trust, providing accurate billing, and delivering superior products. He has been focused on growing existing customer relationships and winning new business.
Bill’s commitment to understanding and addressing the evolving needs of large energy users has been pivotal in helping businesses achieve their sustainability goals amidst market volatility and global challenges. “Expect the unexpected” is Bill’s mantra. As the world moves towards Net Zero, Bill’s mission is to make Electric Ireland a valued, trusted energy partner to businesses on their sustainability journeys.
Bryan Rogers is a Customer Relationship Manager with over 25 years of experience in customer service and relationship management. Joining Electric Ireland in 2014, Bryan has honed his expertise in the energy market, specialising in large energy user customers. His extensive background includes time within ESB Networks, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the distribution side of the industry.
With a strong foundation in retail banking and a decade dedicated to the energy sector, Bryan brings a wealth of transferable skills to his role. His primary focus is on understanding and addressing the needs of energy users, offering tailored solutions that help customers navigate the complexities of the energy market. Bryan is committed to staying abreast of market dynamics, including price fluctuations, geopolitical impacts, and sustainability trends. “No two days are the same, and every day is a learning day”, he says.

His dedication to building strong, trust-based relationships is evident in his success, with many customers signing long-term contracts through 2027 and beyond. Bryan’s expertise and proactive approach make him a trusted advisor, guiding clients towards achieving their sustainable energy goals.
Sarah Robinson is the Manager of B2B Portfolio Sales at Electric Ireland, leading the SME and Group Sales team across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. With over 20 years of experience within the ESB, Sarah has developed extensive expertise in both sales and service roles, working extensively with businesses.
Sarah began her career in telesales and transitioned through various sales positions, including roles in insurance and print sales. Her journey with the ESB Group started in ESBI Computing, where she excelled in selling hardware and software. Following the closure of ESBI Computing, she continued her customer-facing career in Customer Solutions, eventually moving closer to sales in Business Markets.
Known for her customer-centric approach, Sarah has gained valuable insights into the importance of excellent service in customer retention. She is “delighted to be in a role that brings me closer to sales and clients. What I’ve seen time and again, regardless of role, is that true customer loyalty is not only based on price.”.

Raymond O'Malley is the Business Customer Strategy and Experience Manager at Electric Ireland, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic insight to his role.
With a strong academic foundation, Raymond began his career in finance roles across IT distribution and retail sectors, providing him with a solid understanding of financial and strategic planning.
Raymond's journey in the energy industry began in 2018 when he started as a Trading Analyst at Electric Ireland. This role provided him with deep insights into the volatility of energy markets and price-impacting variables. He later became the Prompt Trading Team Lead and held the position of Governance Manager for Customer Solutions, where he focused on regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Raymond is dedicated to developing strategies to address the challenges facing business markets. He coordinates the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, ensuring Electric Ireland remains a leader in providing tailored energy solutions to its business customers.
Raymond graduated from Dublin City University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance and a Master of Science in Management Strategy while completing his ACCA accountancy examinations.
