How to switch your business electricity to Electric Ireland

We’ve got all the information you need to know on how to switch to
Electric Ireland for your business electricity supply.

Your most recent energy bill

(which includes your MPRN)

Your MPRN can be found on the top right of your electricity bill from your current supplier and will be used to confirm your address.

Your bank account details

To switch online you will need to hold a Republic of Ireland bank account and agree to pay by direct debit. We will ask you for your IBAN, which identifies your bank account number. It can be found on your bank statement and will look like this:

When you have all these details to hand you are ready to start the switching process, this will only take a few minutes to complete.

When you submit your switch you will receive an email containing all the details of your switch, your price plan terms and conditions and the Electric Ireland general terms and conditions.
