The VAT amount will be displayed as a separate line item on the front of your bill. The VAT amount and rate will also be displayed on the second page of your bill. As stated by the Government, VAT will be charged at 9% instead of 13.5% effective from the 1st of May to 31st of October, 2022.

How can I avail of the VAT reduction announced by the Government on my electricity and/or gas bill?

The reduced VAT rate of 9% will be automatically applied to all bills issued from 1st of May 2022 to October 31st, 2022, as instructed by The Government.
